Here are some fucking magnolias.

I am having a BAD day.  So here. Magnolias.  Lots of fucking magnolias.  Hopefully it will cheer us all up, if you are also in a bad mood.

We saw this in a bird bath.  I wonder what the birds think of this?

A spire in the Greek Orthodox Church.  I am thinking of doing a post dedicated to interesting patterns in architecture, soon.  I may include this spire, again.

The question was raised by Ruby:  "Mom, is this tree trunk, pretty, or ugly?" 

"I like it.  I think it's pretty." 

It is certainly an interesting pattern in nature, anyway.

 

 

 

On a later walk today, this little girl had to zoom!

I paused... to shoot a blossom, but then...

I liked how wrinkled this camelia looked, without also looking faded.

I think this may have been a grouping of blossoms that lost all of its petals.  It looks a little like a grouping of exotic birds.  :)

I have always been fascinated by this little wall thing.  I have no idea what purpose it serves.  I have never seen it in use.
